Discord

Standard Discord setup​

To setup Discord:

  • Go to the manager panel
  • Click integrations
  • Select Discord

From here, you can choose whether all, some, or no information is ported over to their new realms account. Once you click create, no additional setup is required.

Custom Discord setup​

Creating a Discord application

  • Navigate to the Discord Developer Portal and login
  • In the top right corner of the page, click new application
  • Name your application the name of your realm
  • Click create

Customizing your Discord application

  • Optionally add an app icon
  • Add a description for your application
  • Add links to privacy policy and terms of service

Create an OAuth integration

  • From the left side menu click OAuth2
  • Copy your client ID and Client Secret for a later step
  • Under redirects, add the redirect URL found in your realm manager panel. As an example, your URL should look like: https://realm-name.realms.tv/auth/discord
  • Save your changes

In Discord

  • Navigate to user settings
  • Click advanced
  • Turn on developer mode
  • Right click your server icon
  • Click copy server ID and save this for a later step

Connecting Discord to your realm

  • Enter your realm
  • Enter the manager panel > integrations
  • Select Discord
  • Enter your client ID and client secret
  • Enter your server ID
