Setting up your stream in your realm

Once you’ve collected your stream URL from YouTube, you’re ready to go to your realm.

  • Go to your realm
  • Go to channels, find your channel and click the plus button in the top right corner
  • Paste the URL you collected in a previous step into the Stream URL section
  • Add your stream to the relevant categories
  • If you’d like, you can schedule an automatic start for your stream on a specific date and time
  • You can also schedule an end time, though this isn’t recommended for most streams because the stream will end automatically regardless of where you are in your content.
  • If keep VOD after stream is enabled, the stream will become available on demand after the stream has ended. If it is disabled, the stream will not be available to watch after the stream has ended.
  • If stream VOD as live is enabled, viewers will watch the video in sync when live, allowing you to go live with a pre-recorded video
  • The mature content option should be enabled if you’re streaming content that shouldn’t be viewed by all audiences.
  • Click save
