Adding content

Adding media​

  • Click add activity
  • Select media
  • Select embed from a URL
  • Paste a video URL from YouTube, Vimeo, or any similar video platform
  • Select who can access your video
  • Optionally add details and a thumbnail for your video (by default your thumbnail set on your external video platform will be used)
  • Click add media

Creating a single answer question​

  • Click add activity
  • Select single answer question
  • Enter your question
  • Add all necessary multiple choice questions
  • Select which option is the correct answer
  • Click add question

Creating a matching pairs question​

  • Click add activity
  • Select matching pairs question
  • Enter your question
  • On the left side of the menu, enter your answer
  • On the right side of the menu, enter the matching answer
  • Click add question

Creating a page​

  • Click add activity
  • Click page
  • Enter your page title
  • Enter any content you’d like to display on your page
  • Optionally insert videos or images to your page
  • Click add page

Creating an ending quiz​

  • Click add activity
  • Click ending quiz
  • Name your quiz
  • Set the number of attempts allowed (setting attempts to 0 allows an unlimited number of attempts)
  • Set your quiz to graded or ungraded
  • Set the passing score
  • Click create quiz

From here, you can add questions:​

  • Click add question
  • Enter your question
  • What this question will be weighted
  • Whether it’s a multiple choice or text response
  • If you select multiple choice, enter all options for your multiple choice question and set the correct answer
  • Click create question

Repeat this step as many times as needed to complete your quiz setup
